How it works
Generate or load captions, open translation, and select the languages. PromptFy returns translated grouped and timed captions together so editing and export stay synchronized.
Good to know
Translation works on the grouped captions and their word timings together, in chunks, so the translated text keeps the sequence and timing of the original transcription and stays editable in the same caption editor.
The original transcription is always kept. Review the translation caption by caption, fix names or product terms, and restore the source text if you prefer it before exporting.

Does translation change the audio?
No. Subtitle translation changes caption text. Use video dubbing when you also want translated speech.
Can I return to the original subtitles?
Yes. PromptFy retains the original transcription for restoration.
