Multilingual video
Dub a video into another language
Create and store translated-language versions of an existing video while keeping the source available.
What you can do
- Choose different source and target languages
- Track upload and processing progress
- Recover active jobs after leaving the screen
- Keep multiple dubbed versions per source video
How it works
Choose a video and two different languages. PromptFy validates its audio and duration, prepares a compatible upload, monitors the dubbing job, and saves the completed version to the dubbed-video library.
Good to know
Before uploading, PromptFy checks that the source and target languages differ, that the video has an audible audio track and that its duration fits your plan. Audio that is not AAC, such as PCM, is converted while the video is passed through, because dubbing providers can reject some formats.
Uploads stream from the file instead of loading the whole video into memory, so long clips are practical. Progress is tracked even when you leave the screen, and each finished dub is stored as its own version next to the original.
Frequently asked questions
Does dubbing overwrite my original video?
No. Completed dubs are stored as separate variants of the source.
Can a video without speech be dubbed?
The source needs a nonempty, audible audio track for the dubbing service.
How long can a video be for dubbing?
The maximum length depends on your plan and is checked before the upload starts. The service has the final say on quota.
