How it works

Select a recorded video and generate or restore cached subtitles. Review each caption in the editor, configure its appearance, and export only after the preview matches the intended result.

Good to know

Transcription runs on the iPhone using Apple's speech recognition, which needs speech permission and an audible audio track. PromptFy keeps individual word timings as well as grouped captions, so word-by-word effects stay in sync with what is actually said.

Ten presets (Bold Pop, Highlight Box, Karaoke, One Word, Classic, Line Box, Neon, Minimal, Gradient and Comics) combine with bundled fonts (Montserrat, Poppins, Anton, Bebas Neue and Bangers), colors, positions and animations. Each video remembers its own style, so opening another video never inherits it.
