Voice-follow teleprompter
A teleprompter that follows your voice
Read naturally while PromptFy follows your spoken progress instead of forcing you to match a fixed scroll speed.
What you can do
- Follow spoken progress through the script
- Pause and resume without losing your place
- Adjust font, spacing, colors, and opacity
- Move, resize, mirror, or rewind the prompt panel
How it works
Enable voice scrolling and grant speech and microphone permission. As you speak, PromptFy aligns recognized words with the script and smoothly corrects the visible position without repeatedly jumping backward.
Good to know
Voice scrolling matches what you say against the script instead of guessing a pace. It only searches a bounded window ahead of your current position, which keeps the text steady when the recognizer mishears a word.
The prompt panel is yours to shape: font size, line spacing, text and background colors, opacity, mirror mode, and the panel's size and position. These settings persist across scripts and launches, and fixed-speed scrolling stays smooth regardless of the device's frame rate.
Frequently asked questions
Does voice scrolling require an internet connection?
Availability depends on Apple's speech-recognition support for the selected language and device conditions; fixed-speed scrolling remains available.
Can I use a normal fixed speed instead?
Yes. PromptFy supports fixed-speed, manual, and voice-follow scrolling.
What if I skip or repeat a sentence?
Voice scrolling avoids jumping backward on noisy recognition, so a misheard word does not send the text back. You can rewind or scroll manually at any time.
