Teleprompter app with camera: how it works on iPhone

What happens during recording

The script is visible to you but is not burned into the finished video. You can position it near the front or rear camera, adjust readability, and start scrolling before or during the take. The recorded file contains the camera image and audio, not the teleprompter controls.

Features worth checking

Camera integration should not mean giving up control over the recording.

• Front and rear camera support
• Microphone selection and reliable audio
• Vertical and horizontal composition
• Countdown and hands-free controls
• Stable export with the expected framing
• Captions and editing after the take

When one-device recording is useful

It is especially practical for Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, UGC, online courses, presentations, and talking-head videos. A single-device setup reduces equipment and makes it easier to record consistently wherever you are.

Frame the shot the same way every time

Consistency makes a channel look professional. Smart framing saves the pitch, roll and yaw of your best take and guides you back to it in the next session with a ghost frame and haptic feedback.

Combine it with the social-media safe-area guides and a fixed phone position, and your videos will look like they were shot in the same studio.
