How the tool works

AI editing brings suggested cuts into the timeline as editable clips. In a project with several sources, choose the recording to process; the other sources, manual cuts, and added sounds are preserved. AI cuts currently have their own restoration behavior rather than the same undo step as an ordinary manual cut, so review the suggested result before continuing.

Build it step by step

Save a clear rough assembly and decide which recording needs analysis. Listen to the original delivery so you can recognize context the suggestion might remove.

• Open AI editing and choose the recording when the project has several sources.
• Review the suggested result before accepting the pace as your final edit.
• Inspect each join on the timeline and extend a clip when a breath or explanation was cut too closely.
• Keep other recordings and manual choices in view while adjusting the analyzed source.
• Check added sound positions after the video becomes shorter, then play the entire assembly.

An example to adapt

Illustrative exercise: a teaching clip has pauses between three explanations. Compare the AI suggestion with the original and retain the pause that gives the viewer time to understand the hardest step.

If a suggested cut starts halfway through a useful phrase, recover enough source material for the phrase to make sense. The objective is a coherent explanation, not the fewest possible seconds.

Check before finishing

AI cuts have their own restoration behavior rather than the same undo step as an ordinary manual cut. Review the available restoration controls before continuing. A reused analysis is still a suggestion for the source, not proof that every jump cut fits a different project context.
